In Marvel and DC comics, each character is part of larger universe. Batman fights alongside Superman and Wonder Woman in DC’s Justice League; some of the X-Men fight alongside Spider-Man and The Avengers in Marvel’s main universe. When it comes to the films however, only Marvel Studios had made the effort to realize that shared universe on the silver screen and after years of laying the foundation, the next feature from the Disney-owned studio represents the culmination of their efforts, and the ultimate comic geek fantasy: The Avengers.

If you’re reading this, looking for that first glimpse at The Avengers and are excited to see these heroes come together on screen, then you’ve no doubt been following the series to date. Critical reviews of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 are almost pointless, if we’re really being honest. Still, while official reviews may not be all that important, we’re betting that some of you Potter fans out there will be eager to read some of the early reviews of Deathly Hallows: Part 2 that are now emerging online.

So how is the final chapter in Harry Potter’s movie franchise faring with the critics? In a word: Excellent.

Mercedes (Julia Roberts) crossing paths with Larry (Tom Hanks) in the romantic comedy ‘Larry Crowne.’

Larry Crowne is a drab, overzealous middle-manager with a hidden inner gentleman. Does it make sense that this guy ends up with Julia Roberts? Not really. But then, this is Tom Hanks’s movie. He produces, directs, and stars as the title character, and he can therefore romance Julia Roberts in his movie if he wants to.

Hanks’s movie company, Playtone, would seem to be dedicated to making movies about a kind of suburban, Beach-Boys-y soundtrack America, where 1950s-era Boy Scout values still inform everything. Not that that’s inherently a bad thing; it’s just that the word “cloying” comes to mind.

That said, ”Larry Crowne” is not a bad movie. It’s pretty funny, if overly cutesy, full of decent chuckles and a smattering of belly laughs.

Call me – is a good Romantic Comedy film. It’s also Erotic Romance, Chick Lit/Hen Lit, Contemporary.

Description:
Caitlyn Fenton is a culinary student working her way through school by hosting at playboy Shawn O’Brien’s restaurant and as a phone sex operator.

Not much for the silly boys who called her wanting to do something “bad” by talking dirty to her alter ego Eden or the old men that got off by just hearing that she sat around naked all day waiting for their call, Caitlyn was inexperienced in what gave her pleasure. Working hard to meet her goals, she had boyfriends but never one that caused her heart to thump.

Shawn was just the man that wanted to change that. Mildly interested in Caitlyn, he accidently found out her moonlighting job as Eden and decided to awaken her sexuality. A game at first that leaves them both wanting more, but in the end turns out to be the love each was looking for.
